1- What are the plans for eligible insurance for this program?
We currently collaborate with the following plans: Sunshine with CMS, Aetna Better Health, and Cigna-Health Care. Currently, at GPMH, we are proud to collaborate with several leading health plans to ensure our patients receive the best possible care. We work closely with Sunshine, specifically through its partnership with CMS, to offer comprehensive coverage to those who rely on its services.
Additionally, we maintain a strong partnership with Aetna Better Health, a plan recognized for its commitment to community well-being.
Finally, we also actively collaborate with Cigna-Health Care, expanding the range of options and accessibility for our patients.
Our goal is always to facilitate access to quality healthcare services, and these partnerships are key to achieving this.
2- What are the eligibility requirements?
To do this, you must complete two steps, one external and one internal to our clinic:
External: A referral for music or art therapy is required and can be obtained from your pediatrician, neurologist, psychologist, psychiatrist, or any licensed healthcare professional.
Internal: To check availability at our clinic, you can complete the online form by clicking HERE.
3- What is the estimated duration of the application process?
The application process for our program is designed to be efficient and streamlined, aiming to be completed within three to four weeks. In many cases, applicants can experience even faster completion, sometimes in less time. This estimated timeframe allows for a thorough review of all applications, ensuring that each application receives the attention and care necessary to make an informed decision. We strive to keep applicants informed at every stage of the process, providing timely and clear updates.
4- Do you provide the instruments for the sessions or do we have to bring them?
Our clinic is distinguished by its areas specially designed for the therapies we offer, ensuring an optimal environment for the well-being and development of our patients.
We are fully equipped with all the necessary tools to carry out art and music therapies, using high-quality resources that encourage creativity and expression.
Furthermore, we understand the importance of continuity in the therapeutic process; therefore, our professionals provide all essential instruments and materials.for the sessions at home, ensuring constant progress and comprehensive support for each individual.

5- What are the available schedules?
1. At the Clinic:
Our clinic is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We understand that your schedule may be tight, so if you need an appointment outside of these official hours, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We will do our best to accommodate your availability, as long as it falls within the clinic’s operating days. Your comfort is our priority, and we strive to provide you with the best service possible.
2. At home:
For those who prefer the convenience of receiving therapy in their own home, we offer in-home sessions. To coordinate this service, you must contact your therapist directly. Together you can arrange a schedule that best suits your needs and those of your therapist, ensuring a convenient and personalized therapy experience in your home environment.
6- Will any co-payment be required for this service?
Regarding services covered by your health insurance, Our customers do not have to pay anything out of pocket. This means that all costs associated with the services we provide are covered, and clients will not be asked to make any direct payments. Our goal is to ensure that access to our services is as easy as possible, removing any financial barriers for our customers.
If services are not covered by your health insurance, an hourly rate will apply. The exact number of sessions required will be determined through a thorough initial assessment conducted by one of our highly qualified professionals.
This pre-assessment will allow us to understand your specific needs and design a personalized treatment plan that optimizes outcomes and well-being.

7- Do you provide home services, or do I need to go to a physical location?
We offer our services with maximum convenience and flexibility, whether in the comfort of your home or in our modern clinics conveniently located in Cape Coral and Hialeah. Our goal is to adapt to your needs, ensuring easy and efficient access to the care you deserve.
8- What qualifications do your therapists have? Are they professionally certified?
